Announcement Regarding Free Replacement of the Quick-release Hotend for Anycubic Kobra 3

BACKGROUD

Recently, we received feedback from a small number of users reporting that the print head (the hotend) on their Kobra 3 printers were experiencing leakage issues, which can lead to print failures. Upon receiving this feedback, our technical team immediately launched a thorough investigation, conducting technical analysis and verification of the reported issues to quickly identify the problem and provide solutions to address the cases.

SOLUTION

After several rounds of testing, we found that the leakage was due to the hotend throat component in a few units not meeting our airtightness standards. The issue was traced to the quality of a specific adhesive, and we've ruled out problems with design, materials, or manufacturing.

Upon identifying the issue, we immediately stopped using the affected adhesive batch and re-inspected all products from that batch to ensure they meet our quality standards.

    Please submit a ticket to request a new hotend, and we will send you a brand new quick-release hotend at no cost.

    We’ve also extended the warranty for the quick-release hotend from three months to six months. The replacement process is simple and can be done easily, ensuring your printer remains in good working order. In order to process the application quickly, we may require the following information:

    • Photos and videos of the hotend with the leaking issue.
    • Your order information.
    • The shipping address.

    The quick-release hotend assembly will be shipped within 14 business days upon receiving your application. We'll also provide a video guide to help you replace the hotend. If you have any trouble with the installation, we are willing to offer you alternative solutions.

    A: The warranty period for the quick-release hotend has been upgraded to six months. The entire printer has a warranty period of one year.
