Across our social channels and communities, you've told us where the Anycubic experience works—and where it still needs work.
You've told us that the Anycubic App is a helpful way to remotely check on a print, but that more advanced controls and slicing capabilities are still limited.
You've asked for more of the essential functions you rely on in Anycubic Slicer Next, along with a more consistent and seamless slicing experience.
On the firmware side, you've told us that finding the right setting isn't always intuitive, sometimes requiring you to go back and forth between multiple pages.
We're listening—and investing more in making that experience better.
Software 2.0 is a small step in that direction. It brings the Anycubic 3D printers, App, and slicer closer together, expands what you can do across them, and removes many of the small frictions that add up throughout a print.
Here's what that looks like in everyday use.
1. Can I do it from here?
Stay where you are. Less running around.
You start a print before taking a nap. Just as you get comfortable, a thought hits you: Did I turn on spaghetti detection?
Before, that might have meant getting up and walking back to the Anycubic Kobra X just to check one setting. Now, simply open the App and slicer to check or turn it on.
Anycubic Software 2.0 expands remote access to frequently used printer controls. AI Detection, Smart Assist, Equipment Calibration, and more can now be managed directly from the App or slicer.
One setting shouldn't mean another trip to your printer.
Before this upgrade, AI Detection, Smart Assist, and Equipment Calibration could not be turned on or off from the App.

2. Where is it?
Right where you need it. Less searching.
2.1 See what matters at a glance
You started a print before heading out. A few hours later, you open the App to check: What layer is it on? How much longer will it take? When will it finish? Is there enough 3D printing filament left?
Instead of making you look for those answers across different pages, Anycubic Software 2.0 reorganizes the workspace and task pages around the information that matters most during a print.
Printer status, print progress, remaining time, estimated completion time, filament usage, and other key details are brought together for easier viewing.
Open the page and know how your print is doing, how long it has left, and whether it needs your attention.
Less hunting for information. Less jumping between pages.
Beyond the bigger interface updates, we've also improved a few smaller details to make everyday use easier:
● Clearer feature descriptions: We've added brief descriptions to Smart Assist settings in the slicer, App, and printer firmware, helping new or unfamiliar users quickly understand what each feature does.
● Easier touch controls: The printer interface now uses larger, more touch-friendly layouts, with many list-based settings reorganized into modular sections for easier tapping and fewer accidental touches.
● Time at a glance: The current time is now shown in the top-right corner of the printer screen, making it easier to estimate when a print will finish without checking your phone.
2.2 Find the file you're looking for
Getting a print just right often takes a few tries. Adjust a setting, slice again, print again—and before long, the same model may have five or six versions that look almost identical in their thumbnails.
A few weeks later, finding the one that worked best can turn into a guessing game.
Software 2.0 adds file search, bringing more complete file filtering and management capabilities. Clearer file naming makes different versions easier to tell apart, while search helps you get to the file you want faster. Cloud files and printer files can be managed in sync.
No more guessing from nearly identical thumbnails or hunting across devices for the right file.
And if the model you want is already in the cloud, there's no need to open your computer, download it, and transfer it to the printer first. You can find the cloud file directly on your printer and start printing from there.
3. Are my settings synced?
One setting. Everywhere. Less second-guessing.
You set up a new filament on your computer. Later, you switch to the App and wonder: Do I need to set this up again?
Or maybe you change a setting on the printer, then open the App and aren't sure whether that change has carried over.
There is only one printer, and it shouldn't feel like you are operating three separate systems.
Anycubic Software 2.0 brings the printer, App, and slicer closer together. More device information, filament settings, and supported controls are now synced across all three, so a change made in one place can stay up to date on the others.
No need to remember where you changed a setting or second-guess whether it's up to date somewhere else.
4. Why do I have to do it again?
Set it once. Less repeating.
You find a third-party filament you really like. The first time you use it, you take the time to dial in the temperature, color, and other settings.
The next time you use the same filament—from the App, slicer, or another supported printer—you shouldn't have to configure it all over again.
Anycubic Software 2.0 upgrades filament management with support for official, generic, and third-party custom filaments, along with more accurate representation of a wider range of filament colors. Custom filament settings can also sync across the App, slicer, and printer.
Set up a filament once, then keep using those settings across your devices—without memorizing parameters or configuring them again.
Beyond syncing third-party filament settings across the printer interface, slicer, and App, we’ve also redesigned filament management. Whether you use Anycubic or third-party filament, material information is now easier to view and manage accurately.
As shown below, the left shows the interface before the upgrade, and the right shows it after the upgrade.
5. Can I print this again?
Print just like last time. Less hassle next time.
Some things are worth printing more than once.
Maybe it's a storage box, a useful replacement part, or a model you use regularly. You printed one successfully a few weeks ago, and now you want another.
Before, that could mean finding the original file again, remembering which settings you used, and going through the setup process one more time.
Anycubic Software 2.0 keeps your print history and related settings in the App and slicer. Find a previous successful print, and you can quickly print it again. Previously, print history was only available in the App. With Software 2.0, it's now available in the slicer too.
No hunting down the original file. No trying to remember the settings. Just find the print that worked and print it again.
Fewer little hassles, from setup to print
Anycubic Software 2.0 focuses on the small frictions that come up again and again in everyday printing: walking back to the printer for one setting, searching for information or files, wondering whether a change has synced, or setting up something you've already configured before.
We've also refreshed the overall look across all three platforms, clarified the visual hierarchy, and reworked layouts and interactions across the workspace, device settings, filament management, and other areas to make everyday use smoother and more intuitive.
Not every improvement is a big new feature. Some simply make every check, search, setting, and action a little easier.
